Simply Up is an epic adventure game with four maps. Climb across increasingly high platforms, judge your next move, and reach the top of the map.
Playable game modes of Simply Up
Classic Mode
Like Meccha Chameleon, this game also features many game modes. The first one is Classic Mode. Your task is to climb on high platforms and reach the top of the map. The environment is filled with familiar urban objects, including buses, umbrellas, rooftops, and buildings. The objects in Classic Mode form the setting through which you need to climb. Instead of a traditional staircase leading directly upward, the map uses elevated structures and objects to create the route. Buses can become part of the climbing environment, while rooftops provide larger elevated areas. Umbrellas and other objects add variety to the landscape. As you progress, keep your attention on what is above you. The goal is not simply to move forward but to find the next useful platform that continues your upward route.
Playground Mode
Playground Mode changes the atmosphere completely. Instead of climbing through an urban environment, you need to make your way upward through a playground. The map is filled with familiar playground equipment such as slides, carousels, trampolines, and other structures. The playground setting gives this game mode a more playful appearance while keeping the same central objective. You need to identify the high platforms and structures that can help you continue climbing toward the top. Slides and carousels become part of the environment rather than simply decorative objects. Trampolines also stand out as a distinctive feature of this map, giving the playground its own visual identity. The key is to maintain your focus on elevation. No matter how different the environment looks, the mission remains the same: find your way upward.
Mars Mode
Mars Mode takes the climbing concept away from Earth and places it in a space-themed environment. Your mission is still to reach the top, but the surroundings are now filled with rockets, space stations, machines, and other Mars-themed structures. The visual identity of Mars Mode makes it distinct from Classic and Playground Mode. Instead of rooftops and playground equipment, you need to navigate a world containing rockets and space stations. Machines also form part of the environment, giving the map a futuristic character. The change in setting does not change the fundamental objective. You still need to climb onto high platforms and continue upward until you reach the top. This consistency makes it easy to switch between modes while still experiencing a different environment.
Soccer Mode
Soccer Mode provides another unusual setting for the climbing challenge. Instead of navigating a city, playground, or Mars landscape, you need to climb within a football playing field. The field is filled with balls, creating a sports-themed environment for the vertical challenge. The main objective in this game mode remains unchanged: reach the top. However, the football field provides a completely different visual setting. The abundance of balls gives the mode its distinctive character and separates it from the other three environments. Because the map is based around a football playing field, you need to focus on identifying the high platforms and objects that allow you to continue upward.
