Your roles in Hide And Smash
Like Meccha Chameleon, this game also assigns you one of two roles, including hider or smasher. Two smashers and four hiders are selected at random each round, so no two games feel exactly the same.
Play as a hider
As a hider, your goal is to stay hidden long enough to complete the mission. You must disguise yourself as furniture inside the maze. Your job is to find all 15 keys scattered throughout the area. You cannot just wander freely, and every movement matters, because you must balance exploration with the risk of being noticed. If a smasher catches you, your round ends immediately, so staying concealed and moving strategically is critical. In other words: blend in, act as you belong, and work quickly to collect all 15 keys before you are caught.
Play as a smasher
As a smasher, you take on the role of the hunter. Your job is to run around the maze and search for the disguised hiders. Once you locate a hider, you must use your hammer to smash them. This is not a slow-paced game. Smashers are expected to stay alert, react quickly, and keep pressure on the hiders. Your success depends on your ability to spot subtle clues: movement, positioning, and patterns that don't look quite right. Even small observations can help you find targets faster and secure more smash victories. By performing well and achieving objectives, you can earn coins, which makes every round rewarding. The better you play, the more chances you will have to rack up coins and progress in the game.

The store
Once you earn coins, you can spend them in the store to upgrade your chances in the next round. What you buy can change how you play, either by making you stronger as a smasher or helping you stay hidden as a hider. Using coins, you can buy new hammers to improve your performance and help you smash hiders faster and more effectively. If you are playing as a hider, you rely on staying concealed. In the store, you can use coins to purchase cover-ups and other helpful disguises that make it easier to blend into the maze and avoid being caught.
